The Sterling Aesthetics Medical Weight Loss and Wellness Program offers a comprehensive, evidence-based program so you can finally feel good about all aspects of your health.

In order to help you achieve your health, wellness and weight loss goals, we will complete a medical and lifestyle consultation, and then work with you to develop a personalized weight and wellness plan incorporating the crucial elements for a successful, lifelong lifestyle modification.

While greatest success will be achieved with the balance of all of these available modalities, personalized programs can be developed to incorporate only one or all all or some of elements alone or in combination.

Weight loss medications:

In some instances, weight loss medications may be indicated to “get the ball rolling” and help your body better respond and process blood glucose. While healthy nutrition and increased movement are key factors to achieving weight loss, weight loss medications in addition to these lifestyle changes can lead to greater weight loss, and a sense of motivation to continue these modifications because you begin to see the improvement!

Nutrition

Vibeke Borgia is a certified nutritionist, LDN, with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics form Kansas State University and a BS in Business Management from Purdue University. Vibeke has worked in the food and nutrition space for over twenty years. She started her career as a Marketing Executive at Ryan Partnership with clients including Mott’s, M&M/Mars, and Hawaiian Punch, which has given her a unique perspective on the food industry and marketing practices. This ultimately led her to pursue a degree in nutrition and dietetics. Upon completion, Vibeke worked at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut as part of the Medical Nutrition Team. She then transitioned to private nutrition consulting in an effort to help individuals using her “Real Advice using Real Food for Real Life” approach. She lives in Southern Vermont with her husband and four children.

Maresa Bowen- Well Built Wellness 

Owner of Well Built Wellness in Manchester Center, Maresa has been a trainer for 8 years and owned her private business here for 3. Her small spaced studio is perfect for private, individualized exercise sessions for people of all ages. Maresa focuses on full body strength training to help improve strength, functionality, and the metabolic health of her clients. Her goal is to help others lead strong and healthy lives while still maintaining a fun and balanced lifestyle. Maresa received her B.S. in Exercise Science at Castleton University and her M.S. in Kinesiology at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She is a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist & Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. Along with private one-on-one training, Maresa also offers custom exercise plans clients can complete at home or on their own in a gym setting.

Shawn Sommers- Peak Performance Training 

Shawn is an ASFA- Certified Personal Trainer with over a decade of experience in strength training and general nutrition. He’s currently attending college courses to obtain a DPT and expand his overall knowledge of fitness and rehabilitation. 

Shawn understands the benefits of exercise to our well-being and everyday life. He specializes in developing personalized exercise plans that cater to the individual and their goal, including weight loss and muscle gain. 

Shawn enjoys working with all age groups and welcomes anyone looking to improve their quality of life. Shawn’s interest in personal training includes working with young adults, seniors, and individuals with movement challenges, focusing on corrective exercise to increase overall performance in the activities we love.
